Stop cars in the historic center of Oristano and green light to the limited traffic zone in some streets.

The commissioner for traffic Ivano Cuccu has instructed the local police command to present a financial plan to arrange the cameras at the gates of the streets in the center concerned "absolutely necessary to trap motorists without the pass issued to residents".

In reality, the administration of Massimiliano Sanna resumes the project of 16 years ago, implemented with lots of billboards and the ordinance of the then mayor Tonino Barberio but never implemented. The project exists because that ordinance has never been revoked by the mayors after Barberio and the cartels resist but in fact the ztl is just smoke because the streets involved have no television cameras and therefore traffic from limited is in fact unlimited . The affected roads are open to all, although by law they are only permitted to authorized persons.

«The goal is to resolve the problem quickly, while the procedures go forward we will hear from citizens and traders to find a common solution perhaps by banning traffic in certain hours. It being understood that the ztl will be done», underlines the commissioner Cuccu. The streets involved are Piazza Eleonora d'Arborea and the access road to the Town Hall courtyard, Corso Umberto 1° from Piazza Eleonora d'Arborea to Piazza Roma, Vico Umberto I, Via Garibaldi from Piazza Roma to Vico Garibaldi and Via Serneste , Galleria Felice Porcella and Portico Corrias, Via de Castro from Piazza Roma to Via Sant'Antonio, Via Parpaglia from the entrance alley of the Palazzo della Provincia to Piazza Roma, Via Iosto.
