Not even finished and already targeted by vandals. Bitter surprise for the companies that use the gym inside the nascent sports citadel of Torangius: the padlocks used to close the entrance gates have been filled with glue.

A joke in bad taste or an annoying prank, the fact is that to access the facility it was necessary to break one of the locks. An act condemned by the Sports Councilor, Antonio Franceschi: "It is more urgent than ever to entrust the fields to avoid nullifying the many sacrifices made so far to deliver a new and functional structure to the neighborhood."

The area is the subject of a one and a half million euro intervention that includes the redevelopment of the indoor facilities and the creation of new play areas including a covered padel court and a skating rink. "Like every Monday, the gym is used by some companies, but upon arrival the managers realized that something was wrong - explains the representative of the Council - the key did not fit into the keyhole of the sturdy padlocks, it had been blocked with transparent glue, to get in we had to break the lock".

It's not the first time that someone has entered the construction site, but this time the foul deserves a red card .
