A 25-year-old was arrested for drug dealing, around ten young people were reported for criminal damage while the 17-year-old student, injured on Tuesday evening in the explosion of a paper bomb, is still hospitalized at San Martino due to injuries to her arm. This is the outcome of the Oristano Carnival which ended in a less than festive atmosphere.

On the sachets there was also the slogan "good Sartiglia". Inside are ketamine, ecstasy and amphetamines ready to be sold in the Courtyard square which for years at Carnival has been the meeting point for thousands of very young people. Those doses of drugs were seized by the Financial Police who arrested Fabio Contini, 25 years old originally from Narbolia but resident in Oristano. The young man, already known to the police, was caught by the financiers while he was trying to deal and was stopped. During the house search, the soldiers found 150 grams of marijuana, another 140 grams of cocaine, ketamine and ecstasy and over 4 thousand euros in cash. Contini, assisted by the lawyer Rafaele Cocco, appeared in Court to validate the arrest. Judge Marco Mascia has ordered the obligation to stay overnight, the direct hearing will be held on February 26th.

There was no shortage of fights between young people who had consumed too much alcohol, furthermore around ten parked cars and the windows of some premises were damaged: several complaints were made. The police are also viewing the video footage from the cameras, trying to identify who threw the paper bomb near the high school on Tuesday evening. A real bomb that injured a student after damaging the school wall. During the night, the 17-year-old underwent surgery on her arm for her injuries and is currently still hospitalized.
