Armed truce between the mayor of Oristano and the UDC.
The group presented itself together in the City Council for the vote on the programmatic declarations, but sent a clear message to the allies: " We will not be foolish servants of this majority, we want to affect the future of the city - said group leader Vincenzo Pecoraro -. Engraving means having our councilors: not one or two but as many as we deserve».
Only postponed, therefore, the thorny question linked to the appointment of Carmen Murru to lead the Department of Social Services . Last Thursday the crusader shield (with the exception of the independent Paolo Angioi) had deserted the session in open controversy with the mayor. Today a partial step back that doesn't completely erase the discontent.
The programmatic lines were approved with the votes of the majority. The opposition has accused the mayor of "lack of vision of the city and of courage".
