Oristano, chain collision at the Brabau bridge: traffic at a standstill

Traffic at a standstill in half the city of Oristano due to a pile-up (fortunately with only one minor injury) which occurred at 9.30am on the Brabau bridge , which since Monday 15 July has been the only way out of the city after the closure of the new Ponte Tirso, decided to replace four now dangerous expansion joints.

Hundreds of cars remained stationary for over an hour in kilometre-long queues which sparked the anger of the people of Oristano.
