Oristano has another centenarian. Jolanda Skubin celebrates her century of life today surrounded by her family. The city's affection was demonstrated in the person of the mayor, Massimiliano Sanna, who presented her with a commemorative plaque.

Jolanda Skubin was born in CastelDobra (Gorizia), then Italian but now Slovenian territory, on 23 December 1923, and grew up in a large family with whom she shared the difficult and sad moments of the Second World War.

In 1957 she arrived in Sardinia to follow her husband Lucedio Munini, at the time responsible for the Trieste company that had the contract for the urban waste management service for the Municipality of Oristano.

With them their eldest daughter Mirella. Then the second son Redy will arrive, and in the San Martino neighborhood the neighborhood welcomes the family with great affection.

The new centenarian now dedicates herself to her three grandchildren for whom she is an important point of reference.
