The Oristano Flying Squad arrested a 35-year-old man for domestic abuse against his 45-year-old partner.

The report came from the security staff of the San Martino Hospital: the security guards heard the woman's screams coming from a car and contacted the Police Headquarters Operations Center via 112 NUE, which sent a patrol.

The police found out that her partner had not only forced her to suffer mistreatment for some time but had also beaten her in the emergency room car park, causing facial trauma with a prognosis of twenty days.

The victim had confided in the medical staff of the hospital, and then retracted it in front of the police. Given the evidence of what had just happened, the investigators nevertheless proceeded with the arrest of the attacker, who had also fractured his hand due to the violence of the beatings, in flagrante delicto.

This year the Oristano Flying Squad carried out 32 precautionary and precautionary measures for crimes of gender violence, an increasing number compared to previous years. Twenty-one precautionary measures were issued for the crime of domestic abuse, ten for persecutory acts and one for sexual violence.
