Orgosolo: a shot explodes at the range, carabiniere wounded in the hand

A carabiniere on duty in Mamoiada was injured in the hand this afternoon at the Orgosolo range.

The man, free from duty, appears to have been using an old rifle when, probably due to a malfunction of the weapon or the projectile, there was an uncontrolled explosion.

Initially it was thought to be a serious accident, the air ambulance arrived on site but the soldier's life is not in danger.
