A farm caught fire this afternoon in the Ottana industrial area, near Preda and Solu. Four firefighting teams from Nuoro responded to the scene starting at 2:00 PM.

The fire initially broke out in the vegetation, then spread to the farm. Several round bales, a backhoe loader, and a truck were up in flames .

Three teams from the headquarters and one from the Macomer detachment were dispatched to the scene, along with a duty officer to coordinate the teams. They were accompanied by a helicopter, plus units from the Forestry Corps, Forestas, and Civil Protection .

The emergency response allowed the fire to be contained, which is now being rehabilitated: the flames were prevented from reaching the nearby Energydome company .
