Shoes and backpack were "technical". For the rest, the two girls were wearing only skimpy shorts and tops who, with a temperature of minus two degrees, faced the frost of Monte Spada (1595 meters high) covered in snow. The "prowess" of the two young people was filmed in a video by journalist Guido Piga.

They explained that they adhere to the philosophy of Wim Hof, also known by the nickname of The Iceman. The Dutchman has put his signature on a long series of extreme records, such as the longest swim under the ice or climbing Kilimanjaro wearing only shorts and shoes.

More or less the same clothing used on the Gennargentu by the two girls, who say they follow his method based on a combination of exposure to cold, breathing techniques and meditation.
