A strong smell of marijuana, coming from an apparently uninhabited building in the center of Desulo. The Carabinieri of the local station, off duty, smelled it and intervened for a check that led to the arrest in flagrante delicto of a thirty-year-old for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.

The events occurred on the afternoon of June 29. The arrested man was discovered while he was handling a large quantity of drugs, separating the inflorescences from the stems. The subsequent search, extended to a nearby location, led to the discovery of five bags containing marijuana, for a total weight of over 29 kilograms and 1,730 euros in cash , the origin of which the arrested man did not justify.

The narcotic substance and the money were seized . At the end of the formal procedures, the man was placed under house arrest and, after the arrest was validated, the competent Judicial Authority ordered the precautionary measure of the obligation to remain in the municipality of residence.
