«My human, civil and political closeness to Davide Muledda, mayor of Oniferi, victim in the last few hours of a vile act of arson against his car».

These are the words of solidarity from Emiliano Deiana , president of Anci Sardinia, one of the many messages addressed to the mayor of the municipality of Nuorese, the target of yet another intimidation carried out in Sardinia.

«Once again a mayor, an administrator is made the object of barbaric violence which calls (or should call) everyone to reject the violence, the intimidation, the cowardice that lies behind these gestures », continues Deiana, condemning the gesture with a post on his Facebook profile.

Muledda's car was set on fire during the Carnival celebrations. Despite the intervention of the firefighters, the mayor's car was destroyed.

«Solidarity and closeness» to the mayor of Oniferi was also expressed by Paolo Ledda , mayor of Sarule: «I know for a fact that a person like Davide, who proudly and proudly represents "sa Comuna de Onieri" in every public forum, cannot having done nothing that could have damaged or offended his beloved community," Ledda wrote on social media.

Andrea Soddu , mayor of Nuoro, is also on the same wavelength: «We are all close to our colleague mayor of Oniferi Davide Muledda. On behalf of myself and the administration, I express the strongest condemnation for the act of intimidation he suffered. I hope that the Oniferi community will be even stronger and more supportive in the face of these deplorable gestures."
