The island's health system is still on its knees, with one in five Sardinians forced to give up treatment . To bring down the situation important shortages in the workforce, with the presence of a nurse for every thirteen patients, and in some cases even every twenty : signs of emergency, especially when compared with the national figure, which sees a ratio of one in six.

Today the meeting between the group leaders in the Regional Council and the representatives of the trade unions of the Fp Cgil, Uil Fpl, Fials, Nursind, Nursing Up, Fsi - Usae, Anaao Sardegna sector. Only an initial dialogue, considering the absence of the health councilor Carlo Doria , due to previous commitments already made, which will make a new confrontation necessary, strongly requested by the opposition, together with the convening of the Council.

A global disorganization, with exhausting shifts and the flight of personnel from public to private structures. This is the crisis denounced by the unions, who are asking for immediate answers and the withdrawal of resolution 19/82 of 1 June 2023, with which the junta provides for the establishment of four new hospitals in Sardinia : «It does not reflect today's needs: citizens they need treatment immediately, they cannot live on propaganda".

According to the acronyms, however, the resources should be invested in personnel , thus going to plug the deficit which represents the most evident criticality of the regional health system.
