Giving a new life to the objects that are brought to the Eco-centre. This is the objective of the municipal administration of Alghero which obtained one million euros in the context of a specific call for tenders from the Pnrr to give legs to the project. The idea is to transform a large unused warehouse in Galboneddu into a collection center for materials to be reused. «It is a new, great result which, combined with the excellent work carried out daily by the offices, but above all with the ever-increasing awareness of the Alghero inhabitants, will help generate savings on disposal, more decorum in the city, further improving the image of Alghero». comments the mayor Mario Conoci who takes the opportunity to thank the municipal structure and the offices of the councilorship for the excellent project carried out, a result among those deserving of funding from the Ministry of the Environment out of over 3,300 applications presented throughout Italy.
«Project idea presented at the time for information to the competent council commission - recalls the councilor for the environment Andrea Montis - then developed internally in the offices of the environment sector, according to the guidelines given by the municipal council. A job well done, from which the passion and competence of those who worked on it with great determination was immediately clear».
Reduce, reuse and recycle, optimize: these are the objectives of the municipal administration of Alghero with this project, where materials no longer used but still in good condition will be able to find new life without becoming waste, thus generating further savings on landfill disposal.
