One mass in Sinnai and one in Quartu for Don Pistolesi's funeral

There will almost certainly be two funeral rites to greet Don Alberto Pistolesi, the pastor of Sinnai who died yesterday in the tragic accident at Poetto.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in the parish of Santa Barbara in Sinnai, the other in Quartu before the burial of the body in the cemetery of Quartu, the priest's city of origin.

The date has yet to be fixed: only the official status of the Curia is awaited.

Meanwhile, there remains the immense condolences with the people who still find it hard to believe it: solidarity comes from all over, from the mayors of the area, from the neighboring populations who cling to Sinnai and to the family of Don Pistolesi. There is no doubt about the dynamics of the tragedy. It was a matter of fate: it could have been an illness that betrayed Don Pistolesi.

The priest's body was returned to his family.
