A trap, perhaps, into which Stefano Pilleri, 25 years old, from Sinnai, who yesterday was the victim of a beating in Su Planu, was lured. The Carabinieri of the Sant'Avendrace station immediately identified and reported one of the alleged perpetrators of the attack, GM, 41 years old, free for aggravated brawling. And they are on the trail of the other participants.

Pilleri's name recently hit the headlines as the negative protagonist of a Striscia la Notizia report: the twenty-five-year-old was accused of being the protagonist of a series of online scams. And yesterday's episode could be linked to revenge against him.

The aggression

The attack occurred around 5pm, not far from a bar. According to a first summary reconstruction, Pilleri had an appointment. Maybe for clarification. But it was a trap. Once he arrived on site, the discussion began and quickly degenerated. It seems that the young man was first attacked with kicks and punches in the face, then suddenly a knife appeared. It was Pilleri himself who suffered the worst, collapsing bleeding. The alarm was raised immediately with the arrival of the 118 ambulance and the police patrols. Who immediately closed the circle and reconstructed the story. Meanwhile, the twenty-five year old from Sinnai was hospitalized in the maxillofacial department of the Santissima Trinità, which he left during the night. He also had a wound on his arm, which may have been caused by a stab wound.

The motive

The suspicion is that the motive may have to do with the story of the alleged scams which became a television case. According to the story given by Striscia's correspondent, Moreno Morello, the twenty-five year old from Sinnai would have in fact convinced the sellers to send him the goods in exchange for payments which, however, never reached their destination. The method would always be the same: sending identity documents to reassure the other party, photos of a fake Italian Red Cross badge and also a video in which he was wearing an Army uniform. Once the goods arrived, Pilleri would send a photograph of the bank transfer he had just made, which he would cancel immediately afterwards, thus leaving the sellers high and dry.
