Fabrizio Masala, 53, from Olbia, was transferred to prison. Last October 18, he had chased his ex-partner, threatening to burn her alive, while he was transporting acid and gasoline in his car. Arrested and placed under house arrest, with an electronic bracelet, he continued to stalk the woman . From here, at the request of the injured party's lawyer, Cristina Cherchi, came the request from the Public Prosecutor of Tempio, Noemi Mancini, for an aggravation of the precautionary measure. Request accepted by the GIP of the Gallura Court.

The facts date back to two Fridays ago, when 112 received a call for help from a woman who said she was in her car and being chased by her ex. The man, according to the victim's story, had shortly before threatened her with a knife and was trying to push her car off the road.

The soldiers of the motorcycle squad intervened promptly near a service station on state road 127, at the gates of the city, and managed to track down Masala, who had fled in the meantime.

In the attacker's car, the carabinieri found several knives, a baseball bat, a bottle of acid and a bottle of alcohol with gasoline. A real arsenal ready to be used against the ex.

The transfer to house arrest did not stop him. And now he is in prison in Sassari.

Masala's lawyers, Marco Petitta and Alessandro Carta, are not commenting on the measure, waiting to read the documents that led to the worsening of the measure against their client.
