SwissPro returns to Mater Olbia with Stephen Gamson. The partnership between Olbia Calcio, of which the Swiss club has been the owner since last November, and the hospital, at the forefront in the recovery of the injured players of the Gallura club, has allowed the parties to meet.

But last night the president of the whites Guido Surace was at the Mater as a member of the Swiss board, to attend the donation of Gamson's work, which depicts children playing and was created with a special aluminum technique, to the Olbia hospital : the administrative manager Leonardo Belli and the radiologist Enrico Casu welcomed them. “It's an honor to be here, where people are fighting for their lives: as an artist I don't save lives,” explained Gamson, “but through art I try to improve people's lives.”

Yesterday's event replicates the one that recently took place in Zurich, «which – underline those directly involved – had a certain resonance in the United States», where Gamson is at home (in Miami, Florida), and strengthens the collaboration between the SwissPro is the American pop artist, painter, sculptor and art collector, whose works are valued between 10 thousand and 50 thousand dollars. Laying the foundations for an exhibition in Olbia, dedicated to Sardinia. “I'd like to do it next year,” says Gamson, no stranger to charity events aimed at hospitals, and in particular children's hospitals.
