A New Year's Eve like a Thousand and One Nights, New Year's Eve in Olbia cost one million two hundred thousand euros.
All things considered, and approved yesterday by the Council, to toast the coming year with Marco Mengoni and Lazza, who will alternate on the Isola Bianca stage between the fireworks over the sea and the RDS DJ set, the municipal administration will spend, respectively, 350 and 200 thousand euros on the fees of the two stars of the event.
For the longest night of the year, which promises to be a massive spectacle, a 450-square-meter stage costing €80,000 and a €50,000 fireworks display are planned. The budget is also driven up by security costs: more than €100,000, including healthcare and security, to ensure the safety of patrons.
The area is patrolled by around a hundred law enforcement officers, a dozen ground responders, three ambulances, and an advanced medical station.
