The person who in recent days has become the protagonist of an episode that took place inside the Olbia tunnel has been identified . Several motorists had filmed with smartphones a man who had gone into a rage after taking the underpass against traffic. The man, as documented by various videos, also shows a card to the people he passed and who protested his dangerous manoeuvre.

According to the latest developments in the matter, the man showed a police card because he is actually an agent of the state police (apparently, even worse, of the police). It was the colleagues of the road police of the provincial command of Sassari who proceeded with the identification, thanks to the license plate number and the model of the car in which the man was. The identification operations took place with the collaboration of the Guardia di Finanza and the Carabinieri.

It has already been ascertained that the agent does not work in Olbia and was not in the Gallura city for service reasons. This last circumstance is in the process of being definitively ascertained. Now the traffic police are evaluating the man's conduct, especially in reference to the use of the identification card.
