The Tempio Public Prosecutor's Office has ordered the seizure of the area and vehicles in the warehouse on Via Namibia, in Olbia, where the entrepreneur Giancarlo Campus died around 8 pm today.
The 66-year-old man, owner of the sail loft where the tragedy occurred, was hit and crushed by a manual forklift that was being used near a truck, apparently to move some sails.
The staff of the Olbia Police Station and the inspectors of the ASL's Spresal have begun to interview the people present.
The trolley, for reasons yet to be ascertained, may have lost traction with the ground. Since the beginning of 2024, this is the fourth work-related death in Gallura, the third in Olbia. Campus, well-known and esteemed in the Gallura city, leaves behind three children and two grandchildren.
