Giuseppe Tuccone was a young man when he was arrested on charges of kidnapping, robbery, and extortion. These serious charges were the result of an investigation into events that occurred in Olbia in 2017. The man, now 30, was acquitted by the Tempio Tribunal, the judges having granted the defense attorney's request, criminal lawyer Giuseppe Mocci. Tuccone was found not involved in the crimes described in the indictment. After a birthday party in the Santa Mariedda area, on the outskirts of Olbia, a 20-year-old man was followed and, before he could reach his home, was stopped and forced into a car. A nightmare began for the victim. Inside the car, where he was pushed and beaten, he was threatened with a gun and questioned about the theft of a motorcycle. He denied the charges, but, terrified, finally said he wanted to pawn his motorcycle. Once home, however, he started screaming and raised the alarm. The judges have now ruled that Giuseppe Tuccone is not responsible for this incident. The Tempio Tribunal acquitted the man because the facts were not proven.
