The day after the shootout outside the Sardara armory , a comprehensive investigation was launched to reconstruct the events and identify the perpetrators of the robbery. Two new developments were discovered: the cars used in the robbery and the getaway car, recovered from the town's roadside snipers along the 131 bypass ; and the acquisition of video surveillance footage from the roads leading to the spa town.

The spent bullets on the asphalt are also being examined. Ballistic tests will help reconstruct the dynamics of the shootout between the bandits and the 79-year-old father of the gun shop owner, and determine the source of the shots fired during the heated phase of the attack.

The amount of the loot , or rather, how many rifles and pistols were stolen, is still being kept secret. The only information leaked is a rough estimate of the damage suffered: approximately 80,000 euros.
