450 kilos of copper, proceeds of theft, were seized by the state police with an operation by the Flying Squad of the Olbia police station.

The agents checked some people who, in a van, were transporting ferrous material. Upon inspection of the vehicle, they discovered numerous coils of copper under a heavy panel.

Following investigations into two other people already reported for crimes against property, the Tempio Pausania Public Prosecutor's Office issued a search decree against the four subjects, two residing in Olbia, one in southern Sardinia and one in Campania.

On this occasion, in addition to the discovery of a station created specifically for the preparation of copper, they identified technical tools for processing the material, an electronic scale suitable for weighing large loads and the register of illegal trade accounting.

The four men were reported on the loose for receiving stolen goods.
