A 38-year-old man, Fabio Dalu, driving a motorcycle lost control of the vehicle at a bend and ended up off the road, falling to the ground and hitting his head violently against a signal pole.
It happened along the provincial road 24 between Padru and the hamlet of Lu Turru.
The intervention of the 118 operators was immediate, but for the motorcyclist there was nothing to do, they were only able to ascertain his death. The carabinieri of the Padru station, of the mobile radio section of the mobile radio operating unit and of the territorial department of Olbia were also on site for legal findings.
Dalu, a bricklayer by profession, residing in Torpé, had three children.
