Nurachi has a new centenarian. Bonacata Ponti, known to all as "aunt Bona", has blown out one hundred candles . She spent her life helping people in difficulty, but she was also the pillar of Catholic Action.

"For all of us it is a privilege and a pleasure to celebrate such an important birthday - said Mayor Renzo Ponti - which represents a source of pride for the entire Nurachi community. I say thank you to a person who has worked so hard for the education and civil and social growth of our community ".

Not only cake and best wishes. For the occasion, Don Enrico Perlato celebrated the mass, together with the priests Don Ignazio Cau, Don Franco Porchedda and Don Gerardo Pitzalis. Many fellow citizens and friends of the grandmother of the village participated.

At the end of the ceremony, the administrators and priests highlighted the importance of the work carried out in these hundred years by Aunt Bona and represented all the affection and recognition on behalf of the civil and ecclesial community.
