A welcoming day yesterday at the Nuoro Police Headquarters, where the commissioner Alfonso Polverino welcomed three new young officials of the State Police. They are Giuseppe Berritta, Alessandro Farci and Nicola Asuni, who have just graduated from the training course held at the Higher Institute of Police in Rome.
The three commissioners will officially begin their assignment in the next few days, but in the meantime they have already made contact with the reality of Nuoro.
Giuseppe Berritta, 33, comes from other roles in the Police. Originally from Sicily, he graduated in Law in Messina and completed a master's degree in Public Safety at Luiss in Rome.
Alessandro Farci, 29, is Sardinian and graduated in Law in Cagliari, where he began his career in security and public administration. He also continued his education at Luiss.
Same path for Nicola Asuni, also 29 years old and graduated in Cagliari, with a master's degree in Rome behind him. Both know the island reality well.
With the arrival of the new officials, two colleagues are leaving Nuoro for new assignments: Chief Commissioner Giuseppe Maria Saracino, until now responsible for the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid, will go to Bari to the Railway Police. Chief Commissioner Davide Torsello has instead been assigned to Rome, to the Department of General Administration.
