They were trying to pass the driving license test with the classic headset trick. But they were discovered.
The Judicial Police Team of the Nuoro Traffic Police Section has reported 4 people, three foreigners and an Italian. The latest episode dates back to September 21st.
The four suspects attempted to cheat in the usual way: a prompter in their ear dictated the answers, using a micro-camera that framed the monitor onto which the Nuoro Civil Motorization Office projected the questions .
In exchange, the candidates, without adequate preparation, and in the case of foreigners with poor command of the Italian language, paid them handsomely.
The prompters, for the moment, have not been identified. But the agents are on their trail.
