Twenty-one complaints, out of 62 people checked, are the balance of an activity carried out in Nuoro by the Weapons Office of the Police Headquarters to verify the regular possession of weapons and ammunition. The operations also extended to armaments that still resulted in the possession of deceased persons.

The irregularities found concern the failure to communicate the transfer of weapons to another place or home, and the failure to report the presence of weapons found in the homes of dead relatives.

In total, 125 weapons were confiscated, including rifles and pistols, and about 2,500 ammunition of different calibers.
