The malicious origin of the fire that last night destroyed an excavator and a drill, owned by the Spanish Sonnedix, the company involved in installing photovoltaic panels on land within the area of the industrial consortium, is certain.
The matter is under the magnifying glass of the investigators, the carabinieri of the Ottana company, together with the provincial command, who immediately started the investigations.
For now, little has emerged from the barracks, but the attack appears to be linked precisely to the construction of the photovoltaic panel system, which is being installed on an area of over 40 hectares, owned by the industrial consortium, in particular in the Noragugume area.
The mayors of the three municipalities that fall within the industrial area, Noragugume, Ottana and Bolotana, (Rita Zaru, Franco Saba and Francesco Manconi), who firmly condemn the attack, are concerned about what happened during the night .
An attack that would be linked to the uneasy situation that revolves around renewable energy. And it cannot be ruled out that there may be some connection with the bomb that devastated the Ottana Town Hall in March.
