For the Court of Oristano they would have been given 1500 euros to compensate for the theft of lambs .

And so Giacomino Argiolas, 39 years old from Noragugume , was sentenced to 8 years and two months for extortion; a sentence of 7 years and 8 months for Antonio Demuru, 29, and 5 years and 6 months for Manuel Scintu, 26 (both from Noragugume) for complicity in extortion.

In addition to the compensation for damages that will be defined elsewhere, the judges have ordered a provisional amount of 1500 euros for Rodriguez Pinna, a civil party with the lawyer Gianfranco Meloni (the other offended party is Antonio Mario Chessa, defended by the lawyer Gianmarco Mura) . Defenders Luigi Esposito and Maria Assunta Argiolas requested acquittal; now the appeal will be evaluated.

The facts would have happened between December 2020 and January 2021 . According to what was reconstructed by prosecutor Marco De Crescenzo, Argiolas would have beaten and threatened and had Rodriguez Pinna deliver 1,500 euros as compensation for the theft of 40 lambs, which however was never reported and perhaps never even occurred but would it was only a pretext to have the money delivered by unwanted neighbors of the company in the countryside . Scintu and Demuru would have given Argiolas a hand in threatening and consummating the extortion.
