For the first time in Cagliari the Daspo provision was applied outside the sporting context. The commissioner signed the decision against a 59-year-old from Cagliari already known to the police and the notification was made by the State Police.

The case revolves around the man's social dangerousness , which emerged from the investigations carried out by the Anti-Crime Police Division.

Shortly after his release, he went to the Unipol Domus stadium to watch a Cagliari match. Hence a series of checks that led to the existence of the conditions for the adoption of the preventive measure of the non-sporting Daspo against the 59-year-old who is burdened, among other things, with a recent non-definitive sentence for having attempted to introduce the drugs returning from an award permit, and many final convictions, three of which always in the matter of drug dealing.

On the basis of the provision signed by the questore, for the duration of 3 years the Cagliari citizen will be prohibited from entering stadiums and all sports facilities in the national territory where scheduled and publicized sporting events of the game of football are played, at any competitive level, professional, amateur and youth, even friendly and for charitable purposes (with federal referees), as well as at matches of the Italian national team, and of all Italian teams, which will be played abroad.
