There was no scam . And for Cristian Cocco, a former correspondent for Striscia la Notizia , a legal case has closed in which he was accused of having obtained an unfair profit against a company in the Mediaset group, invoicing higher costs than the real ones.

Prosecutor Armando Mammone asked for it to be dismissed claiming the groundlessness of the crime ; a position reaffirmed by the defense with the lawyer Cristina Puddu and accepted by the judge Salvatore Carboni.

The story dates back to a few years ago: Cristian Cocco and the cameraman Noris Massimo Antonio Aversano had been denounced by the Rti which claimed that the two would have agreed to invoice the Aversano company for higher costs than those incurred to carry out the services of the Oristano actor and former envoy of Striscia.

However, the investigations did not reveal any elements in this sense, so much so that even the prosecutor responsible for the investigation Andrea Chelo (replaced at the hearing by Mammone) had asked for it to be dismissed and the Rti company did not oppose it. The sentence is particularly important for Cocco who will be in court on Friday for the extortion trial.
