Alghero gets the largest contribution for its Cap d'Any.

As many as 200 thousand euros will arrive from the Region: the highest funding among the Sardinian municipalities for the organization of the events. This is what is foreseen by the determination of the General Directorate of Tourism, Management Support and Transfer Service of the regional Department of Tourism, Crafts and Commerce, which published the rankings of the Regional Law 21.2.2023 for New Year's Eve events in Sardinia.

«A month and more of events, as per tradition, for an edition of the Cap d'Any de l'Alguer which this year on the key nights of the Piazzale della Pace confirms itself as truly special», the words of the mayor Mario Conoci who thanks the regional councilor for Tourism Gianni Chessa for the attention shown and the support given to the territories and the entire regional council which allocated resources for the New Year, which constitute a great attraction for the entire island.

The mayor also congratulates the Municipality's Planning service, which in synergy with the Alghero Foundation have arranged participation in the tender and, together with the municipal Tourism Councilor, underlines the commitment of the entire municipal structure «for the great work which in these days they are called to carry out to guarantee the best possible organization in anticipation of the magical weekend of 29, 30 and 31 December, when the city and the tourist port area will be the fulcrum of the great end-of-year concerts with Guè, Noyz Narcos, Anna, the most famous DJs of Radio Deejay and the legendary Luciano Ligabue".

The overall investment, for the long month of events, is close to one million euros.
