Security issues. The costs for Marco Mengoni's New Year's concert at the Cagliari Fair are still rising .
The Municipality had to allocate another 95,464 euros (approximately 78 thousand plus VAT), in addition to the 839,491 of the initial estimate, to cover the increased expenses that emerged after the last technical summit: the Police Headquarters asked for a larger deployment of vigilantes and greater provision of anti-panic systems. Thus the director of the Culture service, responsible for the procedure, decided on the further financing.
«Following the approval of the detailed budget estimate, for the overall conduct of the event», we read in the provision , «further elements emerged to be integrated with respect to the security plan estimated in the estimate».
The money is destined for the F Group, the company to which the Municipality has entrusted the entire organization, "turnkey".
