Traveling alone and without assistance, Andrea Mura, sailor and skipper of the vessel Vento di Sardegna, is back as a protagonist with Nautic Event, the testimonial event organized in Porto Torres , from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th, by Assonautica Nord Sardegna which this year chose the port city in the north-west of Sardinia to promote the integrated regional tourist offer starting from the coasts and reaching the inland towns. Mura, fresh from the extraordinary adventure that lasted 120 days at sea, coming third in the prestigious Global Solo Challenge, is the special guest of the event set up under the Aragonese Tower.

«My last experience was a very tough regatta, which I had been looking for all my life, a dream which, despite a thousand difficulties of means, resources and time, we managed to participate in and it went well», says the sailor. «I'm happy with how I started, so unprepared for this lack of means, where the best thing would have been to retreat, but instead luck and my sailing experience helped me a lot to be able to complete this undertaking unprepared». Now his dream is to repeat that feat. «This time more prepared, with the right means and times and to win it. I've tasted the journey, for now."

Andrea Mura wants to teach kids who want to undertake the same adventure about sacrifice. «I want to convey the values of sport to young people, to push them to believe in dreams, leaving aside cigarettes and cell phones. I want to tell the students of Nautico Paglietti about my emotional experiences with videos and images of my exploits. Being able to excite young people through stories is the most important thing, because it helps to encourage them, to understand that much stronger emotions exist and so that they learn to fight to achieve their dreams."
