Sogeaal announces a new route for summer 2027. From June 4 to October 29, Discover Airlines, the leisure airline of the Lufthansa Group, will directly connect Alghero and Munich with two weekly flights, every Monday and Friday.

The new connection significantly strengthens Northern Sardinia's connectivity with Germany and, above all, allows Alghero Airport to establish a direct connection with one of the main international hubs of the Lufthansa Group network.

"Our goal of increasing the quality of services offered at Alghero Airport, aimed at attracting high-value connections and partners, is starting to bear fruit. The direct flight to Munich, one of Europe's main hubs, operated by Discover Airlines of the Lufthansa Group, connects the region to highly significant international markets and destinations. This path is also possible thanks to the agreement signed with the Municipalities, the Sassari Chamber of Commerce, and Confcommercio Nord Sardegna, finally achieving broad-based collaboration and regional synergy," said Silvio Pippobello , CEO of the Northern Sardinia Airports.
