The Municipality of Cagliari allocates 57 thousand euros to liven up the streets of the city center and Pirri with Christmas music. The call for tenders for the organization has just been published.

The activities, we read, "must develop in a widespread manner on all the streets indicated, as well as in the squares and connecting streets, with at least one artist every 100 meters of road and every 400 square meters of square or park". They must consist of «musical activities, with a strong Christmas character», performed only acoustically and with stringed instruments.

The time is also indicated: they must take place "continuously from 5pm to 8.30pm on 16, 17, 18 and 19 December and from 10am to 8.30pm from the 20th to the 24th". There will only be a break for lunch. But musical entertainment must always be guaranteed during the opening hours of commercial establishments". No setups or amplified sounds.

The streets affected will be Via Manno, Garibaldi, Alghero, Paoli, Dante (the stretch between Piazza Giovanni XXIII and Piazza Repubblica, compatibly with the presence of construction sites), Largo Carlo Felice, as well as the main streets of the Municipality of Pirri, also including the Park

of the former glassworks. Here a "Santa's house" will have to be created, adequately decorated and animated by special figures for at least two days to be agreed with the administration.
