The hamlet of Muta Maria has a new work of art. The installation , in Piazza San Giuseppe, desired and supported by the past president of CNA, Benedetto Fois, depicts the holy craftsman who maneuvers a rudder to indicate the route , surrounded by the tools of his trade. In the intentions of the artist, the sculptor and painter of Belvì, Tonino Loi, and of the community that wanted it , the stone installation wants to represent for everyone a space for pause and reflection beyond its aesthetic value and the evident enrichment of the artistic and cultural heritage of the territory.
"The stone, with its durability and its connection to the land - we read in the note on the sidelines of the event - brings with it a sense of history and work, further rooting the community, including the entrepreneurial one, in its territory".
The inauguration ceremony, attended by the Bishop, Monsignor Roberto Fornaciari, was well attended by the citizens of Murta Maria who witnessed, with emotion, the meticulous installation process, carried out with mastery and assisted by the artisans who collaborated with the artist. Each gesture contributed to giving the installation its final form, harmoniously integrated into the context in which it was installed.
