Immediate turning point in the murder of Luca Mameli, the 35-year-old from Capoterra stabbed to death on the Poetto promenade in Quartu : two people are in the offices of the Cagliari police station together with their lawyer. The arrest could therefore be triggered a little more than fourteen hours after the crime.

The investigations of the Flying Squad, in collaboration with the Quartu police station under the coordination of the deputy prosecutor Nicola Giua Marassi, therefore had a sudden acceleration that led to the two men. In the next few hours they could be accompanied to the prison in Uta.

According to an initial reconstruction of the investigators coordinated by the manager Fabrizio Mustaro and the deputy Veronica Madau, Mameli and friends would have had a discussion with another group of people on the walk through the nightclubs of Poetto di Quartu. Perhaps there was a mistaken appreciation of a girl (after the murder a young woman yelled "it's my fault") with a previous discussion perhaps that took place in one of the clubs. Then the attack, around 5.30, and the blow to the chest of the 35-year-old who collapsed after a few meters. Accompanied to the Brotzu hospital from 118, Mameli died around 6.

The police officers of the Cagliari police officers, the police station, those of the Mobile and the experts of the forensics have arrived on the spot. Many witnesses were immediately heard who would have allowed the investigation to be directed despite the stories being a bit confused. Also recovered the images of the cameras in the area and had them installed by the municipality of Quartu.
