Sassari, and not only, mourns Professor Marisa Buonajuto, who died this evening.

Wife of the historian Manlio Brigaglia, who passed away seven years ago, Professor Buonajuto was also well known for having taught History and Philosophy at the Azuni Classical High School, training hundreds of students.

With the writer, historian and journalist she had shared not only her life but also her love for culture and after her husband's death she never missed meetings, awards and conferences where culture and Manlio Brigaglia were discussed. Despite the fact that her illness forced her to move around in a wheelchair.

In 2021, Marisa Buonajuto donated her husband's personal archive to the Municipal Historical Archive . Two years later, she donated a rake from the first half of the twentieth century to the agricultural machinery museum of the Agricultural Institute of Sassari, a sort of rake first driven by animals and then by mechanics that was mainly used for harvesting hay.
