The driver of the latter was unharmed, but in shock, he was the first to ask for help. But attempts to save the 49-year-old's life were unfortunately in vain.

Local police officers are investigating the dynamics. There is talk of a possible lane invasion . Vinchesi's body was transferred to the morgue of the Quartese cemetery at the disposal of his family, while the Cagliari prosecutor Nicoletta Mari opened a case for road homicide.
