Tragic fatal accident this morning near Luras, on the road to San Leonardo.
According to initial information, a motorcycle collided - for reasons under investigation - with a bus.
Rescuers arrived on the spot immediately but for the centaur there was nothing to do, he died instantly.
The victim is a 42 year old from L'Aquila who just this morning had landed in Olbia, with the ferry along with a group of other motorcyclists.
From a first reconstruction, shortly after 11, he was traveling along a tortuous stretch of provincial 136 Luras-San Leonardo, towards Luras, when in facing a curve he widened the trajectory too much, invading the opposite lane just as a tourist bus was passing. The bus driver, who was traveling without passengers, could not avoid the impact.
