Mores has been missing a doctor since June, which should cover a large portion of the population. The mayor Enrico Virdis and his council in recent months have set in motion the search for a general practitioner to remedy this gap.

And in recent weeks the solution seemed close, with the new professional ready to take up his duties in this month of September.

But today the cold shower has arrived. "The doctor we contacted for personal reasons had to give up - explains the mayor -. In any case, we will continue to seek solutions together with Ats, to give answers to our community. Unfortunately, the lack of doctors is evident". A few days ago the provisional rankings of the regional call for the assignment of vacant positions in Sardinia for general practitioners were published in the praetorian register of Ares. Out of 334 available assignments, only 173 doctors participated.
