There are seven fires that were recorded in Sardinia today , in one case the aircraft of the regional fleet operated in addition to the teams on the ground, while a fire that occurred in recent days required the intervention of SuperPuma, helicopters and Canadair for the final shutdown.

The flames today broke out in Arborea , the coastal pine forest area. The SuperPuma from the CFVA base of Fenosu and the GAUF staff of the CFVA of Oristano intervened under the coordination of the Marrubiu Forestry Corps Station. A team from the Forestas Agency of the Arborea Marina shipyard, two teams from the firefighters of Terralba and Oristano, a team of volunteers from Uras-AVPC M. Arci and a team from the barracelli of Terralba operated.

While the extinguishing operations of the forest fire in Calangianus , in the "Riu lu Fungone" area, which developed in the afternoon of August 1st, have been continuing since this morning: for two days it required active extinguishing with aerial and ground means .

The operations are coordinated by the staff of the Calangianus Forestry Corps Station assisted by the staff on board a SuperPuma helicopter coming from the CFVA base of Alà dei Sardi, and two helicopters coming from the CFVA bases of Anela and Farcana. The staff of the Tempio Forestry Station and the staff of the Gauf CFVA of Tempio attended.

The national air competition was necessary with the support of two Canadairs taken off from Olbia due to the complex reclamation operations in an intensely wooded area which could not be reached by land vehicles.

In today's operations, 3 teams from the Forestas agency from the Bortigiadas and Tempio shipyards, 7 teams of volunteers from the municipalities of Olbia, Santa Teresa Gallura, Palau, Arzachena and Tempio, a team from the Telti barracelli and a team from the fire brigade Olbia fire.
