Touched words spoken on the phone by Massimo Moratti, the owner of Saras, to the family of Stefano Nonnis, the 42-year-old worker from Santadi who died Wednesday inside the Sarroch refinery.

Condolences and help

It was Stefano's brother, Cristian, who received the call. «When Moratti called me, I perceived a slight embarrassment in his voice, almost as if he didn't want to disturb, while when I showed him an attitude of availability he calmed down. I thanked him on behalf of the whole family for his availability ».

Cristian Nonnis also received a call from Andrea Geraldo who became the spokesperson for Saras employees. "Each worker wants to make his own contribution," said the trade unionist, "each of them will renounce the wages of a few hours of work, to donate wages to the family and also be symbolically close to the family".

The funeral
