The echo of those damned terrestrial drilling machines bounces like a pinball ball segregated in a natural acoustic box of cork and granite. The silence on the great mountain, in the highest and deepest Gallura, is secretly torn apart by a hidden and anonymous pace, with foreigners arriving in Sardinia to plunder the "natural genius" of this exclusive proscenium.

The epitaph of Monte Pinu

The main road to climb the hinterland, that of Monte Pinu, is, after 11 years, a perennial epitaph, an indelible cross of that disastrous flood that forever marked the valleys and mountains of this strip of Sardinia. A decade was not enough to rebuild that link between the peaks and the beaches, the arrogance of foolish rulers transformed it into a monumental symbol of inability and negligence. To climb the highest peak you have to rely on the side streets that have become primary arteries over the years, marked by hairpin bends full of mastic trees, strawberry trees and oaks. The voices that reach Campidano appear surreal, until you decide to cross the granite villages into the strongest and most authentic Gallura. That history in Sardinia has "accustomed" many to foreign depredation is a bitter observation that does not inspire hope, but when you travel along the axis between Tempio and Calangianus you understand that that habit has become an annoying silence. Here, in a land that imagines itself eternally pristine, for a thousand reasons not profaneable, you realize, however, that the assault is widespread, devastating, pursued with cowardly contempt for a natural heritage that succumbs in the silence of business, speculation, of the nefarious commercialization of the future life of the children of Gallura.

The path of disfigurement

When your eyes are projected on the sides of the road, right from the entrance to Tempio, the capital of Limbara, you have the proven proof of powerful bulldozers that flatten tens of hectares of land along the access road. Only then do you understand that that rumor that reached the presence of the "Capo di Sotto" was much more than a whisper of truth. The tired tracks of the little green train, which has been panting on these slopes for some time, are the crossroads of the great scar that is taking place in the ancient land of granite and cork in the silence of institutions and beyond. The plasticised, orange and perforated fence is only minimally mitigated by the powerful greenery that surrounds Tanca di Li Frati, towards Calangianus. When you park the car in front of the charming granite water source that runs alongside the road you have the perception that up there, on the top of that mountain, on the extreme tip of Limbara, the American military occupation still hovers, which at the end of the sixties on the living granite is the largest radio base of the United States Air Force . The axis of the slopes is the one with Punta Balistreri, 1,359 meters of vertical granite, gray spurs, surrounded by green colors that no pantone could reproduce. It is enough to go beyond that band of untouched trees to realize that mechanical means of all kinds are working tirelessly along the entire front of the slopes of Limbara to undermine every plant residue that remains attached to the roots of that land. Endless construction sites, a "military" occupation of a piece of Sardinia destined to be torn up with impunity without obstacles, complete with authorizations issued by nameless managers, with botched signs and fakes, hidden between fences destined to ban those spaces forever. It doesn't matter if we are on the slopes of Limbara. Little has been taught by the hydrogeological history of this paradise, of the houses and bridges built on minute waterways capable of transforming in an instant into liquid and muddy avalanches. Yet everything has been authorized here, a stone's throw from a mighty network of rivers and waterways, with procedures contained in offices sensitive to the rush of those who have to collect millions in public incentives. The construction site "drilling machines" are transforming at an incensed pace those hills and hydrographic valleys close to the Limbara into endless graveyards of crosses, endless expanses, ready to support electrical cables and an avalanche of " Made in China " panels. The lords of photovoltaics are in a hurry at any cost and everywhere. The construction sites, all in this granite enclave, are already full of Chinese packages that have just arrived in Gallura to be placed in place of junipers and strawberry trees, oaks and lentisks. The construction sites cannot be counted. Panel accounting impossible. Certainly the names of the companies that are demolishing the slopes of the granite mountain do not speak for peace, retracing mythology and more. Society and mysteries, as often happens in the intricacies of these affairs carried out in Sardinia by illustrious strangers, foreigners on missions, corporate intrigues worthy of a spy story of international intrigue. It is certainly not easy to reconstruct the landing on the Limbara of «Spartacus srl», a corporate structure declared "inactive", despite the ongoing construction sites, which appears to be headed by none other than an Israeli multinational, with names and surnames slapped on documents and notarial deeds in our possession which shows two directors Noyman Jacob Yaki and Aki Davidovitz Doron, with a sole shareholder, Doral Europe Renewable Energy Limited Partnership , with just ten thousand euros paid in, as befits this type of business.

The Israelis of “Spartacus”

Too bad these gentlemen represent the Doral Group , the leading developer and builder of solar energy and energy storage systems in Israel. A titanic operation, hidden from most people, carried out in the midst of a war conflict which does not, however, distract Israeli attention from the "solar-military" occupation of a corner of Sardinia that was thought untouchable. It is the first time that an "investor" of this importance who has come here from the Middle East has appeared on the island, as if there was not enough space and sun in those deserts. How he got to this stage many ignore, others whisper.

Titan & the red thread

There is certainly a common thread with "Titano Capital srl", the other company that is dismantling the slopes of Limbara to make way for a deluge of photovoltaic panels. The designer for all the systems on this front is always Nicola Curreli, but the company that is carrying out excavations, drilling and installations also shares the invasion of those lands. This is Comal spa, the company that claims to be specialized in the design and installation of high-power photovoltaic systems. They arrived on the streets of Gallura directly from Montalto di Castro, the city in Viterbo that hosts the large nuclear power plant built but never put into operation. Unlike "Spartacus srl", "Titano Capital srl" seems to have solid roots in the land of Gallura, with surface rights contracts for the duration of 30 years in the Venalonga area and full ownership rights for those of Tanca Di Li Frati. Surprisingly, even in this for the first time, the company is "poorer" than the others: from the company documents it appears that the sole shareholder, based in Verucchio, in the province of Rimini, has paid a share capital of 900 euros. Behind the operation there is a contract of «establishment of pledge on shares stipulated between the company "Alpicapital SpA" and "Bper Banca Spa"». In short, on the slopes of Limbara it is time for the Israelis, the banks and the devastation. The moratorium that was supposed to block everything here never arrived. No one ever showed up to block the solar “flatteners” in the land of granite and cork.
