Monserrato, no mystery behind the death of the pensioner

No crime behind the 80-year-old's death was found yesterday in his home in Monserrato .

The man died of natural causes, perhaps an illness. The death dates back to at least ten days ago, perhaps to 15 as immediately established by the ASL doctor, who intervened on the spot.

In short, the case is closed from a judicial point of view.

There remains the drama of a death in solitude. The man was a pensioner, a well-known and respected person: he did not have such problems that he needed to contact the social services of the Municipality. His family members reside in Germany.

Worried was a neighbor who, not seeing him for some time, contacted the local police who arrived immediately. The city police found everything closed: hence the need to ask for the intervention of the fire brigade who forced the entrance making the macabre discovery.
