Cristian Busonera, the 51-year-old from Monserrato arrested on Tuesday afternoon by the Flying Squad because he was believed to be the custodian of a kilo and 300 grams of cocaine and 400 of heroin (a drug with a value of more than 300 thousand euros), remains in prison . This was decided by the investigating judge Ermengarda Ferrarese at the end of this morning's interrogation.

Busonera, at the time of the blitz of the Flying Squad, was under house arrest.

Defended by lawyers Fernando Vignes and Stefano Murgia, he rejected the accusations: «I don't know anything about all that stuff found on the condominium balcony and the writing on the post-it is not mine. Furthermore, the 16,000 euros found in the house are the earnings from the work of my wife, my son and from the sale I make of cheeses and cured meats». His statements were not considered credible and reliable by the judge who thus validated the arrest and ordered the precautionary custody in prison.

During the operation, the agents found the bulk of the drugs in a thermos, on the balcony of a business accessible from the courtyard. Area not used by company owners and staff. Also present is a leaflet with names, quantities and figures. According to the scientific graphologist, it is the same handwriting as Busonera. And the material used to package the drugs was identical to what was found in the suspect's house.
