Change at the top of the Monopolies Office for Sardinia . The new manager is Linda Gorini , winner of the eighth competition course of the National School of Management for management training for the recruitment of managers in state administrations.

Graduated in Political Science from the University of Cagliari , already a manager in the private sector and an official of the Sardinia Region, where she held positions of responsibility in the key sectors of the organisation, she took up the role on 11 March, taking over from Luca Cancelliere .

Within the Customs and Monopolies Agency, the Monopolies Office for Sardinia, which has its main headquarters in Cagliari and three territorial operational sections in the provincial capital cities, oversees the gaming and tobacco sectors with a focus on law enforcement to illegal gaming, control over the production, distribution and sale of manufactured tobacco, liquid inhalation products and accessories for the consumption of smoking products.
